While author diversity has increased in recent years, white writers continue to dominate the publishing industry. This imbalance poses obstacles for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) writers to get their stories out there. Representation is important, and in this workshop, Alyssa Reynoso-Morris shares tips to help authors in the query trenches see that there is no “one size fits all” on the path to representation. She will talk about the publishing process, from querying agents to selling books.
