Reconstructing Historic Palestine | إعادة بناء فلسطين التاريخية
The erasure of Palestine has occurred and continues on multiple levels—expulsion of her people, razing of her villages, planting of non-native trees to obscure destroyed villages, appropriation of Palestinian culture and history, destruction of archeological heritage, along with a well funded campaign to deny our existence, as if the past few thousand years never happened.
But history is not so easily erased, and Historic Palestine still exists in the living memories of our elders who were expelled as children.
This featured panel will discuss the ways in which Palestine is constantly resurrected from centuries of historic audit and from precious memories of our elders, passed to us from written and oral records.
