HAKAWATI: The Poem that Defeated Napoleon | حكواتي: القصيدة التي هزمت نابليون

In the ancient Hakawati oral storytelling tradition, Bassam Abunnadi (of the “Preoccupation” podcast) will give us the first of several tales at this festival from the archives of history.  This one is about how a poem was used to galvanize the powerful warrior families in Nablus to fight against Napoleon’s invasion of Palestine.
