Catherine Elias

Catherine Elias is an Irish-Lebanese American organizer who lives between Al Khalil and Philly. Catherine currently serves as the Deputy Director of a Palestinian community organization in the West Bank, a Program Coordinator for Palestine Writes, and the Co-Chair of the Democratic Socialists of America’s National BDS and Palestine Solidarity Working Group. Catherine is the co-founder of the Faza’a Immersion Program for Palestinian diaspora organizers to return to Palestine to partake in mutual aid organizing. Previously, Catherine worked for the BDS Movement, People’s Action, the Bernie 2020 Campaign, and has worked in and out of the service industry for over a decade.
