Saleem Haddad

Saleem Haddad was born in Kuwait City to an Iraqi-German mother and a Palestinian-Lebanese father. His first novel, Guapa, published in 2016, was awarded a Stonewall Honour and won the 2017 Polari First Book Prize. He is also the author of several essays and short stories, including a science fiction story set in Gaza in 2048 for the Palestinian sci-fi anthology ‘Palestine +100’.
